Alliance RV ownership checks

Alliance RV builds several trailer families with different service requirements. Identify the exact model, production year and component equipment before using a manual or recall notice. On a used unit, ask for the repair orders behind the seller’s assurances and inspect the systems named in any applicable campaign.

A plugged LP fitting can have a service explanation

In an Alliance owner discussion, a 2022 Paradigm 295MK owner found a plug where an outside LP quick-connect was expected. Another owner connected a missing fitting to a recall. Those are individual accounts; the absence of a fitting alone does not identify the unit’s repair status.

The primary record is 22 V-270. It concerns certain 2022 Paradigm, Valor and Avenue fifth wheels with LP quick-disconnect fittings that can crack because of contamination or porosity in the brass.

A crack can leak propane and cause a fire. Ask Alliance or its dealer to verify the VIN and completed remedy rather than installing a replacement fitting based only on a forum post.

Use the right owner guide

Alliance publishes separate owner guides for Paradigm, Avenue variants, Valor variants, Delta and Benchmark. The distinction matters when locating water valves, identifying an appliance or choosing an override procedure. Photograph the component label as well as the trailer’s VIN.

A missing LP connection needs a documented explanation

Ask whether a plugged connection reflects the original equipment, an interim action, a completed campaign remedy or a later owner alteration. Only the unit’s records and the applicable repair instructions can settle that question. The Paradigm discussion is useful for showing how an apparently missing convenience fitting can lead back to a safety campaign; it is not a parts-ordering instruction.

Give Alliance the trailer VIN and the fitting or appliance identification, and retain its response with the repair invoice. For a Valor or Avenue, use the matching guide to identify the system before comparing photographs from a Paradigm. After qualified work, obtain the required completion and leak-test documentation rather than assuming that the presence of a new-looking fitting proves a completed remedy.
