Privacy: calculator entries and contact messages

With its browser script loaded, a calculator computes results on your device. Sending a contact message transmits the information in that form, and visiting the site involves requests handled by the hosting provider. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information through the contact form.

Calculator entries and copying results

The calculator scripts calculate from the values entered in the form without sending those values during a successful browser calculation. If scripting is unavailable or a tool module fails to load, the form can instead submit its fields to the site’s endpoint. Those submitted fields then travel with the request to the hosting service.

The Copy result button writes a result to the browser clipboard when you use it. Anything you paste or share afterward is subject to the destination’s practices. Shared devices, browser extensions and screenshots are outside the site’s control.

Information in a contact request

What the contact form sends
InformationPurpose
Name and emailIdentify the sender and permit a reply
Topic, message and relevant pageHandle the question or correction
Security-check response and request informationCheck submissions and limit abuse

The contact handler passes a successful submission to the site’s email service. Correspondence may remain in the mailbox and service records used to handle it. The site’s security controls also process request information, including the network address used for submission limits.

Hosting and spam protection

Hosting services process requests needed to deliver pages and handle errors or abuse. That can include network and browser information. This policy does not promise that an address is truncated or that all provider records disappear when a tab closes.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Read Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum for its security-signal processing. Following an external source link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Privacy questions

Use Contact and choose Privacy question to ask about a message you sent or request correction or deletion. Identify the correspondence without sending identity documents. The page date changes when this policy changes.
