Corrections and source updates

Report an error through the contact form with the page URL, the exact statement and a supporting source. A model year, document revision or equipment difference can change which figure applies.

A correction report that can be checked

For a weight discrepancy, identify whether the disputed number is dry weight, GVWR, cargo capacity or measured loaded weight. Include the unit’s year and relevant label or document. These figures answer different questions.

For example, an assumed 4,000-lb dry weight and 5,500-lb GVWR can both be correct: the first describes a weight condition and the second a maximum rating. A report should identify which figure the page described incorrectly.

When sources disagree

Include both documents’ dates and applicable models if available. A current product summary can differ from an earlier unit’s manual without changing that older unit’s rating. Do not use a brochure value to overwrite a unit-specific certification label.

Content review dates

A revised review date identifies a content change or review recorded on the page. It is not the date a manufacturer built the vehicle or first published its manual. Report a date that misstates those events along with the supporting evidence.
