Thor Motor Coach warranty: 2026 A, B and C guides
Use the Thor Motor Coach warranty guide for the motorhome’s model year and class. The 2026 A/C guide states different base, lamination and structural limits; the 2026 Class B guide has its own limited-warranty period. Time, mileage, use and ownership conditions all matter.
2026 guides replace the old 2021-only summary
| Guide and layer | Stated outside limit |
|---|---|
| Class A/C limited | 12 months or 15,000 miles |
| Class A/C lamination | 6 years or 50,000 miles |
| Class A/C structural | 12 years or 100,000 miles |
| Class B limited | 24 months or 30,000 miles |
Each stated time/mileage limit ends at whichever comes first. Read the 2026 A/C guide and 2026 Class B guide from the manufacturer’s manual directory for the actual scope and conditions. These periods are not additive.
Annual inspections and transfer conditions need records
The A/C guide requires approved annual inspections to retain structural/lamination coverage, with proof kept and inspections by the purchase anniversaries. It limits transfer to a qualifying second retail owner registered during the original 12-month/15,000-mile period. The Class B guide uses its own original limited period for second-owner registration.
A longer calendar term can still end by mileage
For an assumed 2026 Class B at month 18 with 31,000 odometer miles, the stated 30,000-mile limit has been passed even with six calendar months remaining. That example illustrates the limit; it is not a decision on any actual claim.
Use and failed-part restrictions can change the answer
The Class B guide restricts full-time, residential and certain business use to 90 days/5,000 miles and excludes rental use. A/C provisions also contain use restrictions and defined assembly exclusions. Obtain the clause applicable to your use rather than assuming a long structural term covers every failure.
Keep the chassis and component warranties with the coach guide. Identify the failed part and cause, report it through the required route and retain dated service records. Legal filing provisions also differ from repair-coverage periods; use the issued document for those deadlines.
