Envision 18RBD: weight and appliance checks
The Envision 18RBD’s published dry weight is 3,160 lb, with 740 lb net carrying capacity and a 320 lb unloaded hitch figure. Those figures describe an empty configuration.
For a trip, identify the installed equipment, add water and cargo, then check the actual trailer label and the tow vehicle’s remaining payload. An Ameri-Lite weight table does not identify this Envision.
The published 18RBD specification
The manufacturer’s 18RBD specifications list 29 gallons fresh water, 33 gallons each for gray and black tanks, a 16,000 BTU furnace and a six-gallon water heater. Length is 21 ft 1 in and interior height 80 in. Gulf Stream calls the specifications approximate and directs buyers to the unit label.

Budget the water before the loose equipment
At 8.34 lb per gallon, 29 gallons add about 242 lb. Subtracting that from the advertised 740 lb allowance leaves about 498 lb .
That calculation assumes the published NCC applies to the unit and that this water is an addition counted against it. It does not establish the capacity remaining after factory options or dealer accessories.
A useful purchase comparison starts with two actual unit labels. Ask the seller which options are installed and whether the quoted weight includes them.
Record the battery, propane and travel-water treatment instead of adding or omitting the same load twice. Get loaded axle and tongue measurements when assessing the finished combination.
Do not transfer another line’s appliance list
The Ameri-Lite 18QB sheet lists a 20,000 BTU furnace and a tankless heater. That is a concrete equipment difference, even though both trailers may appear under a dealer’s lightweight filter. Check the Envision’s heater label and service documents when ordering parts or considering a replacement.
