Furrion FSRE17/FSRE21: burners, oven and pilot checks

Use the exact Furrion FSRE17 or FSRE21 range instructions for lighting and cookware. Confirm the pilot remains lit after the stated procedure. If it repeatedly fails, stop and obtain qualified service; do not defeat the flame-safety system or adjust a factory-set pilot from forum advice.

Burner input and oven size answer different questions

The Furrion manual lists propane inlet pressure of 10–13.8 inches water column and 12-V electrical input below 2 A. Those are equipment specifications for qualified installation and service, not an owner instruction to alter regulator pressure.

The four input ratings add to 28,100 BTU/h if all operate at their stated input together. Input heat is not a food-cooking performance test or a measured consumption rate at every setting. The 16-L difference between the two oven volumes does not establish pan clearance.

The cookware limit can eliminate a larger pan

The manual limits cookware to a 10-inch skillet and no more than one inch beyond the burner grate. It prohibits a griddle or utensil covering multiple top burners. A hypothetical 12-inch skillet is two inches above the cited maximum diameter; more oven volume does not change that cooktop rule.

Compare the original pilot complaint with the maker’s procedure

In the October 2025 owner thread, the original poster described a pilot going out when releasing the knob. Replies offered longer holds and pilot-adjustment ideas, but the thread does not establish a confirmed diagnosis or one replacement part for every range.

The cited manual’s oven procedure says to hold for five seconds after ignition and verify the pilot remains lit. It says the pilot is factory set and requires no further adjustment. Follow the exact model’s procedure and stop at repeated failure rather than extending unburned gas flow or changing a valve.

Use the range for cooking, with the required ventilation

Keep the specified cover open during burner operation, combustibles away and the correct ventilation available. Do not use the range to heat the RV or leave it unattended. For a gas smell or alarm, leave and contact emergency assistance from a safe location.

Use cooking-appliance fault guidance and propane-system guidance. A similar-looking knob or owner report does not establish part compatibility.
