Tiffin and Entegra model and service choices

Compare Tiffin and Entegra by the actual chassis, coach format and build identity. Entegra’s gas Vision and Tiffin’s GH 1 van are very different vehicles. The transition of Entegra diesel models to Tiffin-built Cornerstone does not send every existing Entegra owner to Tiffin for service.

A gas Class A and a diesel van are different choices

The 2027 Vision page identifies Ford F53, a 7.3 L gasoline V8,18,000 lb GVWR and 23,000 lb GCWR. The 2026 Tiffin GH1 brochure describes a van configuration at 19 ft 6 in and 9,050 lb GVWR. Compare usable interior space, travel seating and the unit’s cargo label before choosing by brand tier.

Cornerstone has its own build and service identity

Tiffin’s August 2025 transition FAQ says Entegra-built motorhomes continue with Entegra/Jayco service, while Tiffin-built Cornerstone models use Tiffin and its partners. It describes Series 4,5 and 6, including the 645D naming example.

The Freightliner chassis-maker launch announcement confirms the 2027 Series 6 645D introduction. Do not apply an older Entegra chassis specification merely because the new coach carries a familiar Cornerstone name.

Use actual weight in a towing example

For a Vision with an assumed 17,500 lb travel weight, 23,000 lb GCWR leaves 5,500 lb arithmetic margin. That result still needs the receiver, axle, tire and towing-equipment limits checked. The difference between the two gross ratings is not a universal maximum tow rating.

Obtain a written equipment list and the actual vehicle labels for any alternative. A family’s maximum sleeping count cannot establish enough designated seats or carrying allowance for the intended travelers.
