Grand Design’s Imagine and Transcend names identify travel-trailer families; Reflection includes both trailers and fifth wheels; Influence and Solitude are fifth-wheel families. Choose the coupling and load class before comparing interiors. A “half-ton towable” description does not establish that a particular truck can carry the loaded pin or tongue.

Pick the format before the package

Imagine AIM, XLS and Imagine and the Transcend sub-series need their own floorplan sheets. Reflection 100 and 150 are different model groups, not truck payload ratings. Momentum identifies toy-hauler families, while Lineage motorhomes require chassis and occupant-and-cargo checks.

Winnebago Industries lists Grand Design among its brands. Shared ownership does not establish interchangeable recall campaigns or warranty terms with Newmar or Winnebago. Use Grand Design’s model-year owner documents and the dedicated warranty guide.

Imagine XLS: an owner’s tongue measurement

An Imagine XLS 21BHE owner reported 630–650 lb tongue weight with a battery, full LP bottles and little stored cargo. That is one owner’s configuration, not a rating for every Imagine. With an example vehicle payload of 1,200 lb, 650 lb of tongue demand leaves 550 lb before occupants, hitch hardware and other vehicle cargo.

A $40,513 advertised price included a finance incentive

An indexed Lazydays Tampa 2025 Imagine 2800BH listing, stock 21168891, checked October 18, 2026, was marked sold. Its $57,213 MSRP less a $10,855 dealer discount was $46,358; another $5,845 financing incentive produced the advertised $40,513 sale price. This historical example is a different floorplan from the owner’s 21BHE.

Compare written purchase totals and financing costs for the same year and unit. An incentive-dependent advertisement is insufficient to establish the cash price, total borrowing cost or current availability.

Solitude and Momentum: check an axle campaign by VIN

NHTSA campaign 24 V-193 identifies certain 2024 Solitude and Momentum fifth wheels built July 10–November 2, 2023 with 7,000 or 8,000 lb axles. Over-torqued U-bolts can let the spring pack move. The remedy specifies replacement U-bolts; request completed campaign paperwork for the actual VIN.

Exercise slides and inspect seals during the walkthrough, then document faults with photographs and dates. A forum’s busy repair section is not a measured defect rate for the brand.
