CrossRoads owner support after the Keystone transition
For a CrossRoads-branded trailer, identify the VIN, model year and family before arranging service or relying on warranty coverage. Keystone’s September 23, 2026 announcement names Redwood, Zinger and Hampton among the brands joining its family. That business transition does not establish a used trailer’s condition or restart its warranty.
Use the warranty supplied with the unit
The 2025 Keystone owner manual expressly includes CrossRoads/Redwood. It describes a one-year base warranty, two years for Redwood, and a separate three-year structural warranty measured from the first retail purchase. Those are that manual’s terms; confirm the original sale date and applicable edition for the unit you are buying.
For example, a sale advertised as “new old stock” needs its actual first-retail-purchase history checked. A later private sale does not create another full warranty period. Ask for written confirmation of any transferable balance and outstanding authorized repairs.
Match the service inquiry to the family
Keystone’s transition notice retains distinct identities for the continuing brands. Send the service department the VIN, complete floorplan code, component serial number and photographs of the fault. For recalls, check the VIN at NHTSA and request evidence of completed remedies.
Read a transition notice beside the issued warranty
A Redwood owner and a Zinger owner can face different base periods in the cited manual. Preserve the original purchase evidence and the model-specific warranty rather than replace both with a current corporate announcement.
If a seller advertises remaining coverage, ask which issuer, term and transfer condition support the claim. A workshop should also identify whether the proposed repair belongs to the coach warranty, a separately warranted component or an applicable safety campaign.
A business transition does not turn those into one approval process.
Separate sale date from manufacture date
A trailer can be manufactured in one year and first sold in another. The cited warranty uses first retail purchase for its stated period; the badge year alone cannot establish the remaining term. Keep the original purchase document with the applicable warranty, rather than relying on the date of a used listing.
