Truma AquaGo codes, decalcification and faults
Truma AquaGo faults use a sequence of short and long LED flashes, not a simple count of identical blinks. Record the complete pattern before resetting. The error appendix gives a five-second off interval and calls for authorized service if the error persists; gas odor or another hazard takes priority.
Read the complete LED2 pattern
The AquaGo error appendix uses short as 0 and long as 1 in an eight-position pattern that repeats. Match the complete pattern to the table. Counting every flash as the error number can produce a different diagnosis.
| Code | Meaning in the appendix |
|---|---|
| 1 | Flame not detected after the described attempts |
| 3 | Exhaust pressure-switch condition |
| 9 | Outlet temperature-sensor fault |
| 23 /24 | Supply above 16.4 V /below 10 V |
| 27 | Circulation pump not generating flow; possible filling/venting issue |
| 28 | Insufficient gas supply pressure |
| 29 | Demand exceeds available heating |
| 30 | Freezing risk |
| 31 | Decalcification finished; informational |
| 32 /33 | Antifreeze-kit current below /above permitted range |
Identify the AquaGo variant and operating conditions
The basic, comfort and comfort-plus instructions distinguish models and circulation equipment. They describe burner activation above approximately 0.4 gallon per minute. That requirement is not the same as another brand’s tankless flow specification.
A low-flow fixture and an inadequate fuel supply can produce different observations. Record whether the problem affects one tap or every hot tap. Do not adjust gas pressure or bypass a flow or safety device to make ignition occur.
Use only the approved decalcification procedure
The operating instructions specify AquaGo decalcification tablets and warn against unapproved substitutes such as vinegar. The frequency depends on hardness and use. An old tank-heater cleaning recipe is not interchangeable with this process.
Follow the entire draining, cooling and decalcification sequence for the installed controls. Do not open a hot pressure-relief fitting or leave a cleaning cycle interrupted without its required recovery steps. Record the procedure and date after completion.
Freeze protection needs available energy
Use the exact variant’s winter-use and storage instructions. A temperature warning does not establish that all coach plumbing is protected. Loss of gas or electrical supply can change the protection available.
For a generic cold-tap symptom, use hot-water diagnosis. For supply restriction, use water-flow comparisons. Leave combustion, gas-pressure and internal electrical work to authorized service.
